Poison Control for Cats part 3
Ok I got the rest here, and I really can not stress enough how vital it is really, I know most people know but wow, I know my babies are the world to me, and I dont want anything to happen to them at all! The rest are:
English Ivy
Also called branching ivy, glacier ivy, needlepoint ivy, sweetheart ivy and California ivy, Hedera helix contains triterpenoid saponins that, should pets ingest, can result in vomiting, abdominal pain, hypersalivation and diarrhea.
Peace Lily (AKA Mauna Loa Peace Lily)
Spathiphyllum contains calcium oxalate crystals that can cause oral irritation, excessive drooling, vomiting, difficulty in swallowing and intense burning and irritation of the mouth, lips and tongue in pets who ingest.
Pothos
Pothos (both Scindapsus and Epipremnum) belongs to the Araceae family. If chewed or ingested, this popular household plant can cause significant mechanical irritation and swelling of the oral tissues and other parts of the gastrointestinal tract.
Schefflera
Schefflera and Brassaia actinophylla contain calcium oxalate crystals that can cause oral irritation, excessive drooling, vomiting, difficulty in swallowing and intense burning and irritation of the mouth, lips and tongue in pets who ingest
Now again all those are curtiousy of aspca website.
I it almost almost the new year and I am thankful for my babies in my life. I went to the appliance store, and well the reason was my dryer died well it works but it tears up our clothes its horrible I tell you! So we went there and this lady super nice, offered us to please take a kitten she rescued and it would could come with 50 lbs of food, liter, and she would also declaw, and spay and get shots when time. I was like wow, and she explained why she couldnt keep her, due to her animals not getting along. I wish I could but I feel bad I can not as I have many now and thats enough, But if I could man I sure would, I hope the New Year will bring a wonderful person to take her, or her animals finally get along
